    JJ from New York, NY
Amazing system. My XBox came with 175W power supply. So i guess it is Falcon CPU inside. No need for cooler - system is not hot. Best deal from Buy.com I ordered on Friday with ground shipping and got it on Moday. I recommend everybody to get your XBox 360 Elite from Buy.com

    5 of 5 Incredible Sound Thursday, January 24, 2008
    A Gamer from Cincinnati, OH
I have the Elite connected to my sony Bravia via HDMI cable and sound to my receiver via optical cable. The sound is unbelieveable. The best Games, HD movies, video and audio streaming from my PC. This is the best investment someone with a Large LCD could make even if they don't like games.

    5 of 5 You've come a long ways, baby Thursday, January 03, 2008
    2shayousay from Kearney MO
I was looking at buying the wii or the 360 and it came down to a coin toss. There were a lot of good holiday buys on the 360 so I went for it. Great graphics but I do have it hooked to a 69" HDTV. The 120gb hard drive gives you plenty of storage room. I like the black vs the white case. This thing does pump out the heat, I think it could heat a small closet. I placed a spare laptop cooler underneath it. I would not recommend placing the unit inside a cabinet, unless the cabinet has good ventilation fans. You had might as well buy a second controller now.

3 of 5 It's great when it works, It sucks when it dosen't Thursday, January 03, 2008
    Stephen from Vestal, NY
I recently purchased the Xbox 360 Elite Holiday bundle December 19th, 2007. The System comes in a sweet black finish and all the cables you need to get every thing hooked up to your entertainment center. The games on this system are great and the graphics are amazing. BUT i did run into a big problem with this system. Being the owner of this brand new system for only five days, i was only able to play with my Xbox 360 Elite system for a total of 28 gaming hour before the system crashed. How it happend? I was playing Halo 3 on xbox live on day 5 when it started making louder noises then usual. I didnt think much of it and turned off the system 30 minutes later. The next day I turned the system back on to play a few games of Halo 3 before i went off to work and this is when my system wouldnt load any games. I called up the Xbox 360 customer service representative (who i got Rudy) and went through trouble shooting with him. After the trouble shooting he told me that my system was faulty and gave me two suggestion: 1) I could return my system to the original retailer that i purchased from to get an exchange for a non faulty system, or 2) Send in my Xbox 360 Elite system to the Xbox repair center (free of charge) and have it repaired, which will take up to 4 weeks. I purchased my Xbox 360 Elite system on Buy.com to get away from the NY sales tax of 8% and I got a ten dollar credit which saved me all together Fourty Five Dollars (thats about the cost of one game). I decided to send it back to Buy.com and hoping that they will send out a new replacement a.s.a.p., but I havent gotten any information or updates since i sent it back to them 5 days ago. There was no way that I was willing to wait a month for Xbox 360 repair center to fix my system and send it back as a referbished system. I paid top dollar for this Xbox 360 Elite and was shocked that they wouldnt send me a brand new replacement, since i only had the system for 5 days. I looked up on the internet for problems with the xbox 360 elite systems, where i found alot of angry customers who also had the same problem that i did. I guess Microsoft is pushing systems out and not doing any quality control checks. It looks like Microsoft has been pushing out faulty systems earlier before and it looks like they are still up to their same tricks as before. Xbox live was another problem i ran into. Xbox live is really great and I defiently recommend gamers to get it because it really does open up the games. But the problem i had was since my Xbox 360 Elite was faulty due to Microsoft and i had to send my system back for a replacement or to be repaired. The Xbox Live representative told me, even though i had the Xbox Live membership for less then 24 hours that they would not give me a refund or credit. So the month membership i purchased is a sunk cost and it is unrefundable, I am not happy about that. So with the rating of the xbox 360 elite system I give it a 5/5; Graphics 5/5; Difficulty 5/5; Overall 3/5 because it is like russian roulette, you dont know if you are going to get a working system or not.

    5 of 5 Best System for 2007-8 Wednesday, January 02, 2008
    Bryant from Hephzibah, GA
This is the system to own if you want a large variety of good games. The two bundled games are even good. The DVD drive is rather noisy, but you hardly notice while playing a game. Also, the extra HD space has definitely came in handy.
